This is the "big boy" of the Agave, growing to an imposing size at maturity. Grows 30" x 36" wide. Zones 5-10.
Aesculus parviflora / Bottlebrush Buckeye
This plant is noted for being one of the best summer flowering shrubs. Grows to 12 ft in height and 15 ft in spread. Bloom time is June-July with white with red anthers blooms. Needs partial shade to full shade with medium water and low maintenance. Zones 4 - 8.
Calycanthus floridus / Sweetshrub
This beautiful deciduous shrub grows slowly to form neat mounds up to 8 ft high. Needs medium shade to bright sun and likes moist soils. Zones 5-9.
Cephalanthus occidentalis / Buttonbush
This is a somewhat coarse, deciduous shrub with an open-rounded habit that grows 12' tall. Bloom time is June with white blooms. Needs full sun to partial shade with medium to wet soil and low maintenance. Zones 5-9.
Cimifuga racemosa / Black Cohosh
