Clematis Few vines can compare with the sensational blooms in almost all colors of the rainbow. They can be effectively used on arbors or fences. Clematis will be happy in most soils where their blooms get full sun, but their roots stay shaded. Feathery seed pods are grand in arrangements. Zone 4 unless otherwise indicated. Polygonum aubertii \ Silver Lace Vine This rapid growing vine has small, creamy-white flowers that bloom from late spring to fall. Glossy, heart-shaped leaves are 1˝-2˝” long with wavy edges. Needs full sun and deep watering on monthly basis. Useful as a fast growing screen. Zone 4.
